300 hour Yoga Teacher Training

Advanced training for 200 hour graduates.

Students who have completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training are qualified to enroll in our Advanced 300 hour program. Upon graduating, you will be able to register as a RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance.

Location: Northside Artspace Lofts and virtual online opportunities.

Healing-centered yoga and meditation advanced training and certification. Hosted by Jaina Two Rivers and Chance York with multiple guest specialists. Pre-requisite: You must have completed a 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training (from any Yoga Alliance certified school).

Time: Thursdays 6:00-9:00pm

Details: Each month starts a new topic, and new textbook (see below). You may enroll in training at the beginning of any month. Graduation requires compete 2 years of study (all 24 months of topics).

How much prior yoga experience do I need to take Teacher Training?

200 hour certification from any school.

How many students are in each co-hort?

We usually have 16 students.

Do you have payment plans?

Yes! We require a $500 deposit and then payments can be spread out over three months. Must be paid in full to receive certification.

Do you offer full scholarships?

We have a limited number of scholarships. Includes instruction, textbooks, a yoga mat, a block, a strap, and a comprehensive study manual. Apply here.

Are there any additional costs besides tuition?

If you choose to work with youth you will need to do a background check which is about $50. Yoga alliance certification (post graduation) and liability insurance is around $200. https://yogaalliance.org/

What if I have to miss a class?

You can miss up to 5 classes. We have measures in place to make sure you stay on track for graduation and make up the work.

How can I start to prepare for the course?

Join us at Wellness Wednesdays! Meet your instructors and get a taste of the yoga we practice.

What are our trauma-informed learning objectives?

  • Recognize the important role of body-based interventions in trauma recovery

  • Assess the needs of specific populations

  • Describe easy to creatively modify poses for various populations and situations

  • Design a brief, population-specific yoga sequence using appropriate postures and breathing

  • Discuss possible behavioral challenges and strategies to creatively address them

  • Identify new tools and strategies for improved communication

  • Identify potential boundary issues with students and describe appropriate responses

  • Recognize personal sources of support and encouragement for doing this work
